Wind turbines can be installed at individual premises where there is consistent usable wind speeds of 2 to 5 metres per second. We would encourage the selection of a reliable 0.6kW turbine with installation costs of approximately £3500. The electricity generated is likely to range between 30 to 200 kWh per annum.
